TEN SONGS I AM INTO RIGHT NOW & WHY.

1. "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd.
Floyd is another band that I`ve been listening to a lot lately. This is definitely on my all-time top 10. Great, great riff. This song just melts me. Like if I ever meet a guy who will play this on the guitar for me, I`ll totally die.

2. "Another Girl, Another Planet" by The Only Ones.
This song is so cute & carefree. This is why I listen to old school punk, because all this punk shit today is complaining. Back then the most that they ever complained about was television. I like the guys voice from the O.O.`s too, its kind of Buzzcocksy. lol. Cocksy.

3. "Bathwater" by No Doubt.
No Doubt. Seriously had to have been the coolest band ever. I cannot believe what Gwen Stefani has become. This was definitely one of their best. Rad, catchy...everyone loved No Doubt. What went wrong? (I SO need to buy Return of Saturn.)

4. "Who Will Save Rock `n` Roll?" by The Dictators.
This one is catchy. I heard it on internet radio the other day & fell in love with it. So many great classic punk bands out there & they get such little attention. It`s a shame really. I want to bring this shit back. All the punks I know listen to like the Casualties & Op Ivy. But come on man. The Dictators are sweet. & another thing about this song that I just caught: "I saw The Stooges, covered with bruises" that line is undeniably AWESOME!

5. "Brain Damage" by Pink Floyd.
More lovely Pink Floyd. This song is just crazy. Literally. There`s some great lines in there. "There`s someone in my head, but it`s not me" I just love it.

6. "No Exit" by Blondie.
When I first heard this song, first of all, it`s like Debbie Harry rapping. & you think that that would suck now, but the song is actually very catchy. You forget that it`s Blondie at all. The first time I heard it I was like, "Hmm. This is very unique." I like it.

7. "M" by The Cure.
This riff is rather close to Nirvana`s "About A Girl". I like this song better though. It was off of their first album, Seventeen Seconds, and the only reason I even have it is because Matt, the coolest kid in the world, lent me like every single Cure album ever.

8. "Ignite" by The Damned.
This one is definitely one of the Damned`s best. Dude, I love Captain Sensible. ANYWAY. This song is so fucking catchy. Like I can`t even stand it. It`s so good. I was surprised to find that this was off of Strawberries, one of their relatively later albums. I was also surprised to find that this wasn`t exactly one of their biggest hits. Go figure.

9. "Sunday Morning" by No Doubt.
Another AMAZING No Doubt tune. This was off of...Return of Saturn, I do believe? Or maybe it was Tragic Kingdom. I`m not sure. Anyway, I really like the chorus of this song. I don`t know why. Well I`ve been listening to No Doubt for a long, long time now, so it probably raises some subconcious memories or something like that.

10. "Damn, it Feels Good to be a Gangsta" by The Geto Boys.
I`ve watched Office Space twice this month, and this song makes me laugh. It`s a very good rap song, as well, if not a bit heavy with the cursing. But seriously. I can`t get it out of my head. It`s a very unique hip hop tune.
